Why wasn't the KIA 2nd camp business class...500 Million Superstars' Economy Experience "I couldn't sleep and felt stiff."

Why weren't all the second spring camp flights of the KIA Tigers in the professional baseball league business class? Superstar Kim Do-young, who returned to the spring camp in economy class for the first time in a long time, complained of fatigue. 바카라

The KIA Tigers returned to Korea via Incheon International Airport on the afternoon of May 5 after completing its 2025 season spring camp. KIA set up spring camps in Irvine (first round) in the U.S. and Okinawa (second round) in Japan, and started training from January 25 to build up its physical strength and skills, before gaining hands-on experience through a total of five practice games (one win and four losses).

"I always feel happy when I come back to Korea. When I live in a foreign country for a long time, I miss Korea and feel at ease when I come back. I have a bad feeling in Japan, but when I come back to Korea, I feel better," Kim Do-young said with a smile. "I'm not in a good condition right now, but I trained quite smoothly. I felt that my body would come up just in time for the opening game of the season."

KIA drew a lot of attention when all the players boarded the business class when they left the first U.S. spring camp at the end of January. Thanks to the "big" gift from Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun, Kia's owner, all 60 members of the team and assistants who support training, including bullpen catcher, all sat comfortably in the business seat and enjoyed a long flight.

"We expect this support to be of great help not only for morale but also for minimizing fatigue caused by long-distance travel and for fast jet lag," a Kia official said. "I was so comfortable riding the business seat by round trip. I don't know if all the seats in the food are the same, but I definitely felt better. I was very satisfied with that part," Kim said with a satisfied smile. "It's not a comfortable trip, but it was a comfortable flight."

Most of the team members used economy class as usual for the second Okinawa spring camp. Kia returned to Korea on the same flight (OZ171) as the LG Twins and SSG Landers on Tuesday. The flight time to Okinawa is about 2 hours and 20 minutes, which is not a long journey.

When I asked Kim Do-young how he felt about using the economy seat for the first time in a long time, he joked, "I certainly couldn't sleep and my body was stiff," and smiled, "It was okay because it was a short time."

The biggest topic at Kia's spring camp was Kim Do-young's batting order as she jumped into a superstar. The interest in the lineup of the Tigers has been so intense that many fans argue about the batting order that maximizes Kim Do-young's capabilities. Last year, Kim had 38 home runs and 40 steals, mostly in the 1st and 3rd batting order.

"We have to see how well Wizdom, the new foreign hitter, adapts to Korean baseball. I'm thinking about whether No. 4 should be better or No. 1 and No. 2 because I feel a bit of pressure," Lee Bum-ho said at the airport on the previous day. "If I say I'm in good condition, I think it's right to leave Kim Do-young at No. 3 and take the center stage. If I don't feel good at No. 1 and No. 2, I should put Kim Do-young up to the top of the lineup to make the front stronger. The batting order will change depending on Wizdom's ability."

However, he seemed calm when it came to hot issues. "I really don't have a batting order that I prefer. I will hit anywhere if it helps my team," Kim said. "I didn't have any greed for batting order since elementary school. I wonder why this is controversial."

"There are too many people in our team who will score RBIs. That's why I think if you just go out, you will come home no matter what the out count is. I like that part," he said, adding, "This is proof that our team is strong. If you go out, there is a high probability that it will lead to a score."

Kim, who had an amazing season last year, aims to contribute to his team by showing the same performance as last year. "As I always say, I don't feel pressured. As all players feel pressured to do well, I also have that much pressure," Kim said. "I really want to have a good season this year as well."

Still, Kim is aiming at more than 40 steals last year. "I always have a desire to steal. If I join the first base this year, I will keep running," Kim said. "I have pride in my feet, so I will play aggressively whether I go to first or second base."
